There is hardly a linear barcode, 2D matrix symbology, multi-row symbology, and composite barcode that TEC-IT Barcode Studio cannot generate. Thus, EAN, ISBN, Deutsche Post Data Matrix, QR-Code, Royal Mail CMDM Mailmark, Aztec Code, and DotCode are but a few examples of the long list of codes and barcodes supported, which the program can save as high-quality bitmap or vector images or print out in labels with the highest quality standards.
You won’t need to design your own barcodes, unless you want to. The program comes with a wide range of predesigned templates that faithfully respect all the specifications regarding the corresponding standard, so you can rest assured that all barcodes you create using this tool always conform to them. This is true for both the graphics and the input text. Thus, when using the Data Input Assistant, the program will, for instance, validate that your ISBN codes conform to the codification rules described in the standard. The quality of the graphics themselves is stunning – you can resize them, add special effects to them (such as logos), and save them in high-quality image formats. Besides, by checking the “Optimize” box in the “Appearance” section, you’ll make sure that all barcodes generated are fully readable.
Barcode Studio’s interface has been structured in a way that makes it very easy to use despite the large amount of information displayed. Your design is present at all times, allowing you to check in real time whatever changes you perform in either its appearance or the data it represents. All the supported barcodes and their templates are located on a panel on the right-hand side, while the bottom half of the window has been reserved for the editing tools (data input, settings, logos, effects, captions, etc.), all neatly organized in a tabbed menu. You can input data in various ways – manually, using the data input assistant, importing text files with series of codes, and even generating your own set of codes using the program’s sequence generator.
Everything in this tool has been designed for professional use – all codes, barcodes, matrices, etc., conform to the standards and the specifications they need to comply to in the most accurate way. The image files are of the highest quality, and so is the printing output. Probably the only thing that differs from what you would expect in a professional tool is its price tag, which is more than affordable for the amount of features it offers and the high quality it delivers.
